Well, the hypercar news train is back with a brand new Lamborghini and also a big test from Bugatti. I'll begin with Bugatti. They have broken 300mph in a specially prepared Chiron. This is big because, although due to the fact the run was only one way it will not be an official world record, they are the first to break 300mph anywhere on any run for a production car. No doubt the current holders, Koenigsegg, will come back with a vengeance, but I doubt the current Jesko has 30mph in its back pocket, so it may be three or four years before that response. Lambo, however, have a new car and while it isn't going to reach 300mph, it could cause a bloody nose to the likes of Pagani and Ferrari. Meet the Sian:

Looks pretty cool, doesn't it? The styling has some Countach cues but is described as 'futuristic' by Lamborghini Head of Design, Mitja Borkert, which ties in to some other features borrowed from the Terzo Millenio concept.
It's Lambo's first ever hybrid, but there is good news for performance and noise fans: the hybrid isn't used in place of the 6.5 L V12, but in tandem. This means the Sian has 820 horsepower. The Sian accelerates from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and like the Aventador SV jota, top speed is capped at 217mph or 350kmh. What’s even more impressive, though, is that 63 units will be built at a price of 3.6 million dollars each.
Which car would you rather have? Tell me in the comments.
