Today, the esteemed blog The Lamley Group (@thelamleygroup on Instagram) revealed that there are some new Matchbox models being launched soon. And these are the Moving Parts models. This is important news as we need more of these to continue to see Matchbox's grand plans of a collector's renaissance. Let's get stuck in.

The first car is the Buick Riviera Convertible. Now this car isn't the 1970 ones, the successor that look like this:

The Matchbox model looks resplendent in a deep candy apple red with a tan interior and opening doors.

The second model is a '36 Ford Sedan. It is a two-door wagon in deep green, once again with opening doors. The third model, in baby blue also with opening doors, is the VW 1600 Type 3 Fastback. However, as nice as these cars are, they are not really the high point of the line. That is....

THE RENAULT TREZOR

Yes, the Electric Renault concept from 2017. It also has doors. But... I meant one door. Yes, the ROOF comes out of this car. There is a problem with this casting in my eyes- it still looks like it doesn't have any paint on it. But still, I'm hyped about this.
