Today there has been news surrounding two different pickups. One is a Ford, and the other is a Chevrolet (sort of). I'll begin with the more recent piece of news which is Ford.

The Super Duty trucks used to be the trucks with the highest towing capacity. Think RAM 2500, Chevy Silverado HD and Ford F-250. Think 35k pounds. But, Elon Musk suggested that electricity could do a much better job when he tweeted that the Tesla Pick Up would tow 300 000 pounds. He seems to have been vindicated but not in the way he would like. Ford's electric F150 has undergone towing tests, and the figure is astonishing. The Ford F-150 Electric pick up, as revealed today by Ford, can tow...

...one million pounds.

This video- https://youtu.be/bXFHgoon7lg0 - shows the feat.

This video does fire a shot at the electric truck pioneers- Tesla and Rivian. With that said, the Rivian is not entirely a fair comparison with the Tesla, as it is focused on speed and lifestyle rather than utility. The Tesla, though, should be warned.

Now onto another truck, notable for the entirely opposite reasons.

The CHevrolet Silverado is a fairly normal pickup truck in USA, starting at $28k and going up to $58k. The Hennessey Goliath 6x6 is, admittedly, a tuned 6x6 version. It costs nearly $400k.

This may confuse you. But, there are several good reasons for this newly announced price. Firstly, although it is more than Hennessey's own VelociRaptor, it is 4/5 of the price of the very famous G63 6x6, which means it is a reasonable price for a 6-wheeled pickup. Secondly, only 24 will be made. And third, it's not the Ram T-Rex.

Anyway, thank you very much for reading this. I'm planning some good content as it is coming to weekend here, and I will have more time to work on this.
