Today we're finishing what we started yesterday and will be looking at the top 10 of the super2 grid to see where they will be in five years! Let's get stuck in.

10th: Jack Smith- Supercars (BJR)

I personally don't think Jack Smith will ever be a Supercars-level driver. But he will still be a Supercars driver in 2024 due to his backing he has. I think that he'll still be with BJR.

9th: Ash Walsh- no series.

Walsh will be 36 in 2024. Given the age that motorsport heroes have gone to, such as Craig Lowndes, Dick Johnson, Jim Richards, Paul Morris and, um, Aaron McGill, it's a decent chance that Walsh will still be racing in 2024. However, I'm not certain as modern racing schedules are much more demanding on drivers. I'll say that he'll be a co-driver but not in a regular series.

8th: Brenton Grove- Supercars (MSR)

I think that Grove will be with a T8 Affiliate team in 2024, either that or the Porsche Supercup, and I'll go with MSR.

7th: Jordan Boys- Supercars (Team 18)

Since Erebus don't have a real junior team, I'd think that Boys will break from them if he graduates to Supercars, and then he'd probably be signed to a team like Team 18 so I'll go there.

6th: Tyler Everingham- Supercars (Kelly)

Everingham is one of the best young prospects in the Supercars scene; indeed he won the Young Prospect award at the Supercars Gala last week. I think he'll end up at Kelly Racing in 5 years after Rick Kelly retires.

5th: Dylan O'Keeffe- Supercars (GRM)

I feel like GRM will likely return in 2022 when the new generation cars cut costs by a large percentage, and they have Dylan O'Keeffe in their youth driver ranks. He's been impressive this year in Super2 and would likely be one of their drivers in 2024 if they return.

4th: Zane Goddard- TCR Australia

I feel like Zane isn't quite a good enough driver to be able to make a Supercars career, considering his performance compared to his teammates this year, but I reckon based on the calibre of drivers in TCR Australia and his propensity to improve he could become a leading driver there.

3rd: Tom Randle- Supercars (Tickford)

Let's face it- Lee Holdsworth won't still be driving full time in 2024. Tom Randle is one of the most exciting drivers in Super2 currently. He's also already in the Tickford stable. I think he will be in that #5 seat by 2024.

2nd: Kurt Kostecki- Supercars (BJR)

I think Kostecki's career path will go Super2-->MSR-->BJR like Todd Hazlewood. He should be there by 2024.

1st: Bryce Fullwood- Supercars (Walkinshaw)

Super 2 champions include Mark Winterbottom, Scott McLaughlin, Cam Waters and Todd Hazlewood, and I wouldn't be surprised if Fullwood becomes extremely good like these guys. He certainly has the potential.
