Where will every Super2 driver be in 2024?

With only 23 drivers having taken part in the Super2 Season, this shouldn't be too hard. Let's look at where every Super2/Dunlop Series driver and where they'll be in 2024. If I think they will be in a Supercars seat I'll try and guess the team, otherwise I'll just focus on the series.

23rd: Abbie Eaton- Carrera Cup GB and W Series

I don't think that Abbie will come back to Supercars after issues in her first round in Adelaide. However, I think she will be around the top British categories, as well as in the W Series which she has expressed interest in.

22nd: David Russell- No series

David Russell will be 42 in 2024. I don't think he will race again in a top category. He will probably still be in the Bathurst 6 Hour if his father who is around 70 can, but not in a series.

21st: Joel Heinrich- Super2

Thomas Randle commented earlier in the season that on average a driver spends 5 years in Super2/Super3. Joel Heinrich has competed both in Super2 and Super3 this year in his first year in both. He should be around the top of Super2 in 2024.

20th: Tim Blanchard- No series

In 2024, Blanchard will be the codriver with the Cooldrive car, and will definitely not be driving regularly.

19th: Dean Fiore- No series

Well... this one should be quite obvious. Particularily considering that he only competed in two rounds this year.

18th: Brodie Kostecki- Supercars (Kostecki Brothers Racing)

Brodie's confirmed he won't have enough funding this year to go full time in Supercars but 2021 should be his year. Watch this space: Brodie's one of Australia's brightest young drivers.

17th: Mason Barbera- V8 Utes

Mason's not really impressed in Super2 but was mighty in the V8 Utes series and I wouldn't be suprised if he becomes a frontrunner in the new V8SuperUtes series.

16th: Jake Kostecki- Supercars (KBR Enduro driver)

Jake is hard to predict as he could end up anywhere in Supercars, Super2 or even some other category. I'd see it hard for him to break with his family team unless he was needing to for his career. However, I'll guess he will co-drive like the 2019 enduros.

15th: Matt Chahda- TCM

Most family-owned teams end up fielding a TCM entry, so I'll guess Matt Chahda will end up there.

14th: Jack Perkins- No Series

Jack will be like Tim Blanchard- no regular series but will still co-drive. It's fairly simple, this one.

13th: Adam Marjroam- V8 Utes.

Basically for the same reasons as Mason Barbera, I've gone with Marj in the V8 Utes. Marj has been quite solid but just hasn't been able to take the next step to get into Supercars. Next year will make or break a career in Supercars with the new, improved Image Racing.

12th: Will Brown- S5000, TCR AU and WTCR

I wouldn't be surprised for Will Brown to be driving in the WTCR in five years time after his exceptional time in the TCR this year. Also, I think he'll be in the S5000 still with Eggleston.

11th: Justin Ruggier- Super2

Another parallel with another driver this series, in this case Joel Heinrich except for the lack of Super3. He'll be up there eventually, when he's more experienced in a Supercar.

Stay tuned tomorrow for the last 10!
