Top 10 Cars that are Bad in Top Drives but are Cool

Well, excuse the clunky title. This is about cars that are practically worthless in Top Drives but are very nice cars in real life, outside of the game.

10. Porsche 356

The 356 is a major departure from the rest; all other cars are B class or above but the 356 is a F. This is because, while most nice cars at low ranks are good in game such as the C1 Corvette and the Alfa Romeo Giulia, the 356's low acceleration figure ruins its chances of being even a good F3 class car.

9. Lancia 037

The 037 is a brilliant rally car but struggles with not having enough handling compared to similar in-game cars such as the Escort Rallycar. In real life, it was the predecessor to the brilliant Delta S4, which means it is slightly overlooked but still brilliant.

8. Audi RS Q3

By AUDI AG from Ingolstadt, Deutschland - Audi RS Q3 performance, CC BY-SA 2.0, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=51429160

The RS Q3 is a performance SUV that is top of its class, but in Top Drives it has neither good stats nor appropriate ground clearance nor all-surface tyres, meaning it is roundly useless.

7. Lotus Esprit Sport 350

The Esprit is not quite RQ23 level stats in Top Drives but it is RQ23 anyway. In real life, it's the British Corvette- a big V8 brawler that's capable of competing with the big boys such as Porsche and Ferrari.

6. Volkswagen Golf R

The Golf R has one of the worst Mid Range Acceleration figures (60-100mph) in the game, rendering it virtually useless. In real life, it's one of the top hot hatchbacks and is a lot more affordable than rivals such as the Audi RS3 and Mercedes A45. It is as such a popular choice.

5. Mercedes G63 6x6

The regular AMG G63 is a really good car in Top Drives due to its low acceleration figure, but the 6x6 has worse acceleration and poor handling for 24RQ, and the Ranger Raptor really exposes it. In terms of real life cars, it's insane! It's one of very few cars to have six wheels. And it's able to drive down a canal, as proved by Richard Hammond.

4. Porsche 911 Targa 4S

The 911 4S is one of the worst legendaries in the game, as are the following three cars, but in terms or real life cars, it's one of the best in class. It combines sportiness with elegance and GT pedigree. It's a brilliant car.

3. Lotus Exige S

The Exige, which I've covered as part of the Elise UTH recently, has bad stats in top Drives, due to being too close to an Epic to be effective. However, it's an excellent track fcar in real life.

2. Mercedes-AMG GT S

While the AMG GT is an OP car in the game at RQ26, with massive midrange, the AMG GT S is not super good at RQ27. The car in real life is very similar to the very nice AMG GT and AMG GTR so it is very nice as well, featuring a V8 as well as some excellent chassis work.

1. Lamborghini Diablo 6.0

The Diablo takes top spot on the list very understandably as it is truly stunning. All Diablos are icons of the 90s, as much as the 964 Porsches and the McLaren F1. However, in Top Drives some are better than others. Four models are legendaries, including the 6.0, and all four are rubbish. The epics, which have similar stats but are just worse enough to warrant being RQ25/6 instead of RQ27, are amazing.
