So, there's a lot of theories floating around about firstly what Supercars' Gen3 regulations are and who will join. However, some are more founded than others. Here's my thoughts on who will join.

BMW: 100%

BMW are basically already confirmed with Chaz Mostert joining WAU who have confirmed they won't run a Commodore in 2021. Sounds like a fasttrack of Gen3 is on the way then/

Kia: 98%

Not sure with which team btu Supercars recently liked a comment asking about the stinger. So that can go in the 'good as confirmed pile'.

Camaro: 90%

I reckon even if the Camaro doesn't get factory support, someone will run it anyway. That's with RBHRT and Erebus fighting over who gets to do it at the moment.

Toyota: 60%

Apparently Toyota have recently sounded some interest in Supercars. I didn't know about this. I fell with the Supra ang Gen3's coupe focus, though, the Supra could be a halo car for Supercars and also the 86 Series would have a major effect.

Mazda: 30%

I've heard some rumours regarding Mazda but I don't knwo why. I don't feel like they have a suitable car for the Gen3 regulations.

Audi: 25%

They have Aussie connections through the mighty machine that is MPC, and they have a suitable car in the TTRS, but I feel VW Group are moving too far towards electrification and eco racing to join a V8 category.

Aston: 10%

Aston might have some free funds from WEC and DTM, but I doubt they'll put that into Supercars. More likely would be a second factory team or more R-Motorsport Astons in GT3 (INTGTC and GTWC).

Dodge: 10%

Dodge don't look like they will come in Australia. If they do, they'll 90% join Supercars. But they likely won't.

That's the current thoughts on this. Obviously rumours are constantly changing so in three months, maybe I will have to update this. For now, that's all though.
