On Sunday 14 July this year, RACQ Motorfest was held inside the Eagle Farm Racecourse. Usually, this area is filled with horsepower of the actual horse kind, but on Sunday it was filled with much more horsepower than that.
I'm splitting my Event Wrap over two parts, because I just have so much content, and so many photos, that it's not possible to do in one session.
The first exhibit greeting us when we entered was the RACQ Heritage Display.

But in the middle of this was a SEMA-quality Superformance truck.

Then, there was the Citroen display. There were 3 H Vans and the Mehari, as well as an insane amount of DS, 2CV and Traction Avants.

The French section was next. Citroen, Bentley and Mini were the featured brands, but it WAS Bastille Day. And there WAS a F1 car.

Then there was the supercars. I've not got the space to fanboy about some of these, so just the pictures here:

Also, there was the first new NSX I've seen:

Then, there was the winners of the RACQ Top Model competition. My favourites were the British winner and Overall winner, and I have attached both below:

The next section was BMWs and Bentleys. I will have more photos in the second part, but the outdoor section will be in this one.

Mini fans were out in force.

Finally for today, we have the coffee truck.
Part Two will come this week, along with more car news and hopefully an interview.
Some very nice cars seen.. And was a great day out. The Mehari was a very cool car an rare...
